Luxury Reimagined: Hotel Florblanca Undergoes a Transformation

As if Florblanca wasn’t already a one-of-a-kind sanctuary along the Pacific coast shore of Costa Rica, now it’s even more luxurious after a major remodeling of our 11 private guest villas, beach and lounge areas, and Restaurant Nectar. Here’s a peek at what we’ve been up to.

Villas

After a month-long redesign, the newly transformed villas feature a contemporary feel and a touch of Latin flair with updated fabrics, furniture, pillows, and accent décor that pull colors from bright earth tones.

All villas are nestled in the jungle surrounded by lush vegetation. From spacious one and two-bedroom villas featuring open-air living areas with comfortable seating, open-air bathrooms with carved stone tubs and sinks, hand-crafted hammocks, and tons of privacy. Florblanca’s renovated villas are designed to accommodate every guest’s style and enhance their experience. Choose from our Superior Two Bedroom, Superior One Bedroom, or Deluxe One Bedroom villas, the Honeymoon House, or the Surf House.

Beach and Pool Areas

Enjoying the water is a must when staying with us. Our renovation included upgraded lounge chairs and pool accommodations, with new swinging loveseats and loungers by the beach. Perfect for sipping a glass of wine, relaxing with a book, or listening to the gentle crash of waves.

Outdoor Dining and Lounge Areas

Guests often spend their days lounging and exploring the beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula, or venturing out on an exciting expedition. But as soon as the sun sets, our revamped outdoor dining and lounge spaces become the go-to gathering spots.

As part of our renovation project, we also added a new outdoor dining space with large wooden tables, modern chairs, and hanging woven lanterns. Indulge in Restaurant Nectar’s indulgent cuisine while dipping your toes in the sand. Our oceanfront courtyard is surrounded by beautiful trees, vegetation, and warm ocean breezes – the perfect spot for dining with friends or a romantic evening for two.
