Located on the pristine beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula along the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, Florblanca Pilates is a fully equipped studio located within Florblanca in the small town of Santa Teresa. Here you can envelop yourself in rustic luxury and become one with nature, whilst enjoying Pilates with an ocean-view.
We welcome Pilates teachers wishing to bring their groups to Santa Teresa and we also help you create your own retreat – for you, you and a friend or with a group.

Florblanca Pilates Studio Rental Rates
For Pilates teachers looking to bring a group to Florblanca, Florblanca Pilates requires a 50% deposit fee on your entire projected rental of the Florblanca Pilates Studio(s) to reserve the space(s). We require full payment two months prior to your retreat. This is payable directly to Florblanca. If you should need to cancel you will be refunded 50% of your deposit. Any cancellation under a month will not be refunded.
Florblanca Yoga Shala: $120 per hour. We can accommodate up to 20 students in this space. We provide mats and yoga blocks. We provide props for up to 10 students.
Treetop Studio: $100 per hour. This includes two reformers, a Cadillac, Chair, Ladder barrel, 3 Springboards and all props, ideal for Semi-Private classes.
Ocean Studio: $100 per hour. This includes a reformer, Tower, Chair, Ladder Barrel and all props, ideal for Private and Duo classes.
Free 3, 1-hour sessions in the Florblanca Yoga Shala.

Awaken Your Senses
Your experience at Florblanca will transform your practice.
Our mornings will begin with an invigorating full body Pilates Mat class while evenings will wind down with a restorative sunset class focused on stretching and myofascial release. Two of the days will include an afternoon small group equipment class in the ocean view, tree top Pilates Studio. Equipment classes will be grouped by experience and level featuring several types of apparatus over the course of the week.
There are many of opportunities for adventure during your plentiful free time. An exhilarating zip line canopy tour is included (optional to join). During free time, there will be an optional ATV + waterfall hike tour that guests can sign up for (additional fee), or feel free to register for extras like surfing or horseback riding on your own!
Each guest will enjoy a complimentary spa treatment at Spa Bambu to complement their hard work on the mat (and equipment) throughout the retreat. In addition, the hotel’s beautiful pool and proximity to the beach make it a perfect setting to decompress. Feel like some more pampering? Check out the cold plunge pools – perfect for a hot day and restoring sore muscles!

Shared room (2 beds): $2755
Single room: $3850 (shared villa), $4735 (private villa), $5545 (deluxe villa)
Couple / shared king bed: $3195 (private villa), $3550 (deluxe villa), $3735 (honeymoon suite)
Other points to note:
Concierge can assist you with booking any additional activities, for example: surf lessons, ATV excursions, horseback-riding, and nature hikes.
Florblanca is a non-smoking facility.
We do not accept pets.
Reservation Details
Secure your spot with a nonrefundable $500 deposit. Final payment is due 90 days before the retreat, August 4, 2024.
Airfare not included. Guests should book flights into San Jose (SJO) and then a short domestic flight is required to Cobano airport, only about 15-20 minutes from the hotel.
Travel insurance recommended.
Guests interested in sharing a room with another solo traveler will be paired with a roommate first come, first served, pending availability.
Space is limited. Pilates experience (or participation) not required, friends and partners are welcome to join.
Villas
Each villa is nestled into the jungle and features a spacious open air living area. A hand-made Costa Rican hammock for two hangs at the dramatic opening to the lush tropical greenery. One story villas include a king bed and master bath. Two story villas have a first floor king / bath and a second floor twin / bath. Expect luxurious linens and locally handmade, all-natural herbal soaps.

Transportation
It is best to fly into San Jose and then take a short 25 minute flight to the Cobano Airport.
The second flight should range somewhere between $100-140.
From Cobano, private group ground transportation will be provided to the Florblanca Resort. The transport to the resort is about 20 minutes.
Our Concierge and Reservations team can assist with any questions and arrangements.
Activities
Florblanca is located in Santa Teresa on the Pacific or West Coast of Costa Rica. Here you will find your own paradise surrounded by lush jungle, home to monkeys, birds, iguanas and other wildlife and beautiful white sandy beaches.
