“I started washing dishes for Florblanca many years ago”

Rual’s story is one of our amazing employees’ stories. He started willing to put in time and learn and has made strides each and every day. If we can learn anything from Rual, it would be don’t be afraid of humble beginnings, because you will eventually come to harvest great fruit from them.

Rual’s experience began at Florblanca where he was originally hired to wash dishes. In his own words, “I just came to work”. A simple beginning where Rual was willing to put in the time and effort to do his job well. Bit by bit, he learned how the kitchen functioned, how to cut vegetables, how to cook, and more. However, at the beginning, Rual didn’t even know where to start to make a delicious meal. He was just learning…

“I never stopped”. These words made me stop to think about the intentionality of this man and the love he must have for his profession to keep striving every day to be better and grow. How powerful these three simple words can be in our lives if we look at our situation from the outside in and realize that we can better our situation. Not by being stagnant, but by never stopping.
