Immerse yourself in a nourishing and rich Pilates retreat with Mav and Nadja at Florblanca in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica.
Mav and Nadja are experienced Pilates teachers, passionate about their craft and looking forward to welcoming you to the magical, boutique Florblanca Pilates studio on the beach. Both teachers found healing in Pilates and as a result they tailor their classes specific to each student’s particular needs. They both enjoy teaching smaller groups and Private classes specifically to give each person’s body the attention it needs.
In addition to the personal attention you will receive in your Pilates classes, you will also feel the healing power of being surrounded by nature. Florblanca is located on the pristine beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula along the Pacific coast shore of Costa Rica and is a beacon of rustic luxury.
Your experience will awaken all your senses. Moving daily in either of the two beautiful oceanfront Pilates studios as well as in the seaside open-air Shala, eating delicious meals at Nectar Restaurant which provides a truly hook to fork/ farm to table menu built around local, organic and seasonal ingredients, immersing yourself in relaxing and rejuvenating spa treatments at Spa Bambu and so much more.

Full payment is due by 29 September 2023. Cancellations prior to 29 September 2023 are fully refundable.
Cancellations from 30 September 2023 are non-refundable unless the hotel is able to rebook the nights of the villa. If the villa is booked, Florblanca refunds 75% of the retreat package. “No shows” are non-refundable. Any refund will be made within a period of 30 days maximum.

Villas
Each villa is nestled into the jungle and features a spacious open air living area. A hand-made Costa Rican hammock for two hangs at the dramatic opening to the lush tropical greenery. One story villas include a king bed and master bath. Two story villas have a first floor king / bath and a second floor twin / bath. Expect luxurious linens and locally handmade, all-natural herbal soaps.

Single: your own room and bath, shared villa – $3500
Single: your own villa – $3950
Couple: shared King bed*/bath – $3150 PP
Double: same room, 2 beds/bath – $2900 PP
*Important: if you select a shared king room you will be sharing a king bed with your roommate.
Other points to note:
• Concierge can assist you with booking any additional activities, for example: surf lessons, ATV excursions, horseback-riding, and nature hikes.
• Florblanca is a non-smoking facility.

Located on the pristine beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula along the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, Florblanca Pilates is a fully equipped studio located within Florblanca in the small town of Santa Teresa. Here you can envelop yourself in rustic luxury and become one with nature, whilst enjoying Pilates with an ocean-view.
We welcome Pilates teachers wishing to bring their groups to Santa Teresa and we also help you create your own retreat – for you, you and a friend or with a group.

Pilates Classes
For those simply looking to immerse themselves in their Pilates practice, the Pilates teachers at Florblanca will develop a program specific for your needs. This can be a combination of group classes and Private classes or Private classes only.
Florblanca Pilates Studio Rental Rates
For Pilates teachers looking to bring a group to Florblanca, Florblanca Pilates requires a 50% deposit fee on your entire projected rental of the Florblanca Pilates Studio(s) to reserve the space(s). We require full payment two months prior to your retreat. This is payable directly to Florblanca. If you should need to cancel you will be refunded 50% of your deposit. Any cancellation under a month will not be refunded.
• Florblanca Yoga Shala: $120 per hour. We can accommodate up to 20 students in this space. We provide mats and yoga blocks. We provide props for up to 10 students.
• Treetop studio: $100 per hour. This includes two reformers, a Cadillac, Chair, Ladder barrel, 3 Springboards and all props, ideal for Semi-Private classes.
• Ocean Studio: $100 per hour. This includes a reformer, Tower, Chair, Ladder Barrel and all props, ideal for Private and Duo classes.
• Free 3 1-hour sessions in the Florblanca Yoga Shala.

Activities
Florblanca is located in Santa Teresa on the Pacific or West Coast of Costa Rica. Here you will find your own paradise surrounded by lush jungle, home to monkeys, birds, iguanas and other wildlife and beautiful white sandy beaches.
There are a number of excursions and activities such as fishing, ziplining and surfing that our team at Concierge can assist you with booking for your group. For any of the rates, please contact info2@florblanca.com.
Transportation
Santa Teresa is located approximately 5 hours drive from either San Jose (SJO) or Liberia (LIR) airports. Or alternatively, a 20-minute internal flight from SJO to Tambor Airport followed by a 45 minute taxi transfer.
Once you arrive in Santa Teresa you do not need a car if you plan on doing activities locally.
Florblanca Concierge is happy to help arrange ground transportation from Tambor Airport to Florblanca and, should you wish to arrange your own charter flight, the Reservations team can assist you with this.
