How about a BBQ on the beach! Restaurant Nectar at Hotel Florblanca invites you to dine with the rest of the community at our weekly Saturday BBQ on the Beach.
This intimate dining experience features everything locals love about the culture of Costa Rica… beautiful beachfront sunsets, delicious cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails, live music, and amazing company.
The barbecue is the work of Nectar’s Chef, James Kelly and team. The evening starts with a tasty welcome drink to enjoy while listening to live music. The menu is built around seasonal ingredients with an emphasis on organic local produce, and fresh seafood from the surrounding waters. Your selections include grilled lobsters, meat, fish, potatoes, and vegetables cooked over open flames and grills – all al fresco. And after dinner, don’t forget about dessert (it’s included)!

“We found Florblanca by accident during our walk on the beach. They have an amazing sunset view. It was Saturday and they had BBQ dinner…all you can imagine… The price for dinner was $60, which is not much for Santa Teresa. The food was delicious!! They also had nice musicians. It was an amazing food experience, beautiful view, nice atmosphere. Go for it.”
The BBQ begins at 6:00 every Saturday. Price is $60 per person. We can’t wait to see you!
Our mission is to not only create a great night out for locals, but it’s also an opportunity for us at Florblanca to give back to those who need it most. We recently hosted a charity event for Casa Sonja, a Cubano-based non-profit organization that offers relief for women and children who are witnesses to extreme poverty or domestic violence. We provided food and drink, while our guests provided hope and opportunities for local women and children. We raised over $50,000 for the Casa Sonja!
