One of our favorite excursions and local tours for our guests is the Trailride in Manzanillo. This is a guided horseback riding tour through a private nine thousand acre working cattle ranch that borders the ocean. You ride through high pastures overlooking stunning tropical landscapes and dramatic ocean vistas and then make your way back along the beach. This tour is perfect for riders and adventure-seekers of any and all levels.
Horseback riding is an amazing way to explore and connect with the beauty of nature and the culture of our area. Horses provide a powerful and meaningful way to journey through the landscape. They take you further than you may be able to go on foot and beyond the access of any vehicles.
Riding horses also makes you an integral part of the surrounding, giving you a more intimate feel for the area and making it more likely for you to spot local animals in the wild, like monkeys and exotic birds. It truly provides an experience of freedom and total immersion that is hard to find in any other way.
